The legacy of our business is rooted in Shafeek & Co., a name that has stood for quality and integrity since 1986. Founded by Shafeek Hassanbava Rawther, the company began as a dedicated supply partner to local factories from our original headquarters in Kerala, the very same location where our office stands today.
Our father was never just a businessman; he was a craftsman who believed in being close to the source. This passion led him to expand operations to Ranipet, where he established our specialized tanning unit. While we have now transitioned into our registered identity as ADCO Leather Industries, the spirit and values of Shafeek & Co. remain the heartbeat of everything we do.
A Second-Generation Vision
Today, the journey continues through his sons, Adeeb Shafeek and Adnan Shafeek. Having grown up within the industry, we have combined our father’s traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. We have evolved the business into a vertically integrated global entity, managing the entire lifecycle of leather from raw hide processing to the final stitch of a luxury product.

Based in our Ranipet facility, we are experts in the art of tanning. We specialize in high-grade cow, buffalo, and goat leather, producing finished leather engineered for international export, safety footwear, and luxury upholstery.
Industrial Raw Materials (Gelatin & Parchment)
We are a leading technical supplier of specialized buffalo hides for the parchment and pharmaceutical gelatin industries. We provide limed and H2O2 treated hides, available on both a wet and dry basis, processed to meet the rigorous purity standards required for food and pharmaceutical applications.
Premium Leather Goods
Our lifestyle division brings our house-tanned leather to life. We craft premium professional carryalls, durable travel gear, and bespoke accessories designed to showcase the legendary durability of our own leather.
